2007 Great American Pie Festival

Crisco® awarded a $5,000 cash prize to Carol Socier of Bay City, Michigan — the Grand Prize winner in the amateur division of the 2007 American Pie Council (APC) Crisco National Pie Championships.

Again this year was the Crisco Junior Chef's Pie Championship where young adults ages 14 to 17 competed for a grand prize of a $1,000 gift certificate for cooking and baking supplies. This year's winner was Jordan A. of Orlando, Florida, whose winning recipe was Funky Monkey.

The APC Crisco National Pie Championships took place in conjunction with the Great American Pie Festival in Celebration, Florida on April 21 and 22. View the first place amateur winners and the first place professional winners.

Both the Great American Pie Festival and the APC Crisco National Pie Championships were created by the American Pie Council, the only organization in America committed to preserving America's pie heritage and promoting America's love affair with pies.
