CRUST
1 9-inch single crust Classic Crisco Pie Crust
FILLING
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup butter, melted
or 1/4 cup margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup pecan halves
2. Heat oven to 350°F.
FOR FILLING
1. Combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
2. Bake 50-55 minutes or until set. (Note: cover edges of crust with foil, if needed, to prevent overbrowning.) Cool completely.
