MARINADE
Marinade
1/2 cup Crisco® Vegetable Oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced or 1 teaspoon dried garlic powder
1 1/2 pounds boneless top round steak, 3/4 to 1-inch thick
1. Combine marinade ingredients in a shallow baking dish. Add meat, turning to coat all surfaces.
2. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
3. Prepare grill or heat broiler.
4. Remove meat from marinade. Discard marinade. Grill or broil to desired doneness, turning once. Cut diagonally into very thin slices.
