2 cups raw cranberries
2 cups peeled, chopped fresh pears
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 cup Crisco® Butter Shortening, melted
or 1/2 stick Crisco® Butter Shortening Sticks, melted
1. Heat oven to 325°F.
2. In a 2-quart baking dish, combine cranberries, pears, and granulated sugar. In a medium bowl mix remaining ingredients; spread over cranberry-pear mixture.
3. Bake about 1 hour until lightly browned and bubbly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
