INGREDIENTS

  • 1 C. Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 4 tsp. instant coffee granules
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 4 C. powdered sugar, sifted
  • 4-6 Tbsp. milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. In the bowl of a mixer, cream the shortening, instant coffee, brown sugar and salt until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, blending on low-medium speed. The mixture may be crumbly.
  3. Add the milk, one tablespoon at a time, until your desired consistency has been reached.
  4. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for a week.
  5. Mix before using if stored.
