INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (3 gal.) bottle Crisco® Pure Peanut Oil
  • 1 whole turkey, thawed*
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. PREPARE fryer according to manufacturer’s directions using peanut oil.
  2. PAT turkey dry using paper towels.
  3. COMBINE salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper in small bowl. Rub over turkey. Cook according to fryer manufacturer’s directions.
