INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 C. Crisco® Pure Corn Oil
  • 1/4 C. fresh lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Cumin
  • 4 C. thinly sliced red or green cabbage
  • 2 C. matchstick carrots
  • 1/2 C. sliced green onions
  • 1/4 C. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 seeded and diced jalapeno peppers
  • Salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. WHISK together oil, lime juice, honey and cumin in large bowl.
  2. ADD cabbage, carrots, green onion, cilantro and jalapeno, if desired.
  3. STIR until completely coated. Season with salt and pepper. Chill until ready to serve.
