Spiced Pear Galette

Ingredients
- Classic Crisco® Pie Crust | Crisco – Single-Crust
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 C. McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats
- 1/4 C. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 5 tbsps. sugar, divided
- 3 unpeeled large pears, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. apple pie spice
Directions
- PREPARE dough for Single-Crust Crisco Classic Pie Crust. Chill at least 30 minutes or up to 2 days.
- HEAT oven to 375°F.
- MICROWAVE butter in small microwave-safe bowl on HIGH 20 seconds or until melted. Stir in oats, nuts and 1 Tbsp. sugar.
- COMBINE pears, 1/4 C. sugar, flour and apple pie spice in large bowl. Toss until pears are evenly coated.
- ROLL dough on well floured surface into a 13-inch circle. Place on large baking sheet.
- SPOON pear mixture onto center of dough, spreading to cover an 8-inch circular area. Sprinkle oat mixture over top. Lift edges of dough and fold inward to cover edges of filling. Gently press dough to seal pleated edges.
- BAKE 50 to 60 minutes or until pears are tender and crust is golden brown. Cool on baking sheet on wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
