INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. spinach
  • 1 C. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 container fresh bean sprouts
  • 1/2 small red onion
  • 1/4 C. Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
  • 2 tsp. sesame seeds
  • 3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Garlic Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. TOSS spinach, mushrooms, bean sprouts and onion in large salad bowl.
  2. HEAT 2 tsp. oil in small skillet. Add sesame seeds. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until sesame seeds are golden brown. Cool slightly.
  3. STIR in remaining 1/4 C. oil and remaining ingredients. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Pour over salad. Toss to coat. Serve immediately.
