Ingredients

  • 3 gallons Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
  • 1 whole turkey, thawed*
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper

Directions

  1. PREPARE fryer according to manufacturer’s directions using canola oil.
  2. PAT turkey dry using paper towels.
  3. COMBINE salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper in small bowl. Rub over turkey. Cook according to fryer manufacturer’s directions.
  4. *Choose turkey size according to fryer manufacturer’s recommendations.
