Ingredients
- 1/2 C. Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 C. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 C. butterscotch chips
- 1/2 C. chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
Directions
- HEAT oven to 350°F. Spray an 8×8-inch pan with no-stick cooking spray.
- COMBINE shortening and milk in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM for 1 minute. Stir. Repeat until melted, stirring after each minute. Stir in sugar, then egg.
- COMBINE flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Stir into sugar mixture until blended. Stir in butterscotch chips, nuts and vanilla. Spread into prepared pan.
- BAKE 27 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on cooling rack. Cut into 2×2-inch squares.
