INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 C. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 C. cashews
  • 2 C. pecans

DIRECTIONS

  1. HEAT oven to 300°F.
  2. WHISK together oil, sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic salt, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl. Stir in cashews and pecans. Toss to coat. Spread evenly in 13×9-inch pan.
  3. BAKE 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once or twice. Place pan on rack to cool, stirring occasionally.
  4. For a “hotter” nut mix, add 4 or more drops cayenne pepper sauce to recipe.
