Almond Frosting

Ingredients
- 1 C. Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
- 4 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Almond Extract
- ½ tsp. salt
- 4 C. powdered sugar, sifted
- 4-6 Tbsp. milk
Directions
- In the bowl of a mixer, cream the shortening, , almond extract and salt until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, blending on low-medium speed. The mixture may be crumbly.
- Add the milk, one tablespoon at a time, until your desired consistency has been reached.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for a week.
- Mix before using if stored.
