Easy Homemade Waffles

Ingredients
- 2 C. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 large eggs
- 2 C. milk
- 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 C. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
Directions
- STIR flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl until blended.
- WHISK eggs in large bowl. Whisk in milk and vanilla until blended. Add flour mixture and oil, whisking just until small lumps remain.
- COAT waffle maker with no-stick cooking spray. Heat according to manufacturer’s directions. Drop batter onto hot waffle iron. Bake 3 to 4 minutes or until the waffle iron stops steaming. Carefully remove waffle. Repeat to bake remaining waffle batter. Serve with butter, syrup and fresh fruit.
- Substitute 1/2 Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening, melted and cooled or 1/2 C. Crisco Refined Coconut Oil, melted and cooled for the Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil.
