Hawaiian Chicken Wings with Pineapple Blue Cheese Dip

Ingredients
- 1/2 C. Clabber Girl® Corn Starch
- 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 C. soy sauce
- 1/4 C. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 green onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 lbs. chicken wings separated at joints
- Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- PINEAPPLE BLUE CHEESE DIP
- 1/2 C. mayonnaise
- 1/2 C. sour cream
- 1/4 C. crumbled blue cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions
- COMBINE corn starch, flour, soy sauce, sugar, eggs, green onions, garlic, sesame seeds and salt in resealable food storage bag. Mix thoroughly.
- ADD chicken to corn starch mixture. Toss to coat. Marinate 2 hours.
- HEAT 2 inches oil in a deep fryer or deep heavy skillet. Fry chicken pieces, a few at a time, 8 to 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 180°F, turning to brown evenly. Drain on paper towels.
- COMBINE all dip ingredients; refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes about 2 cups.
