Orange Pumpkin Bars

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 C. canned pumpkin
- 3/4 C. sugar
- 2/3 C. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 C. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice
- 1/2 C. chopped nuts
- 1/2 C. raisins
- FROSTING
- 1 1/2 C. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
Directions
- HEAT oven to 350ºF. Coat a 13 x 9-inch baking pan lightly with flour no-stick cooking spray.
- COMBINE flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
- COMBINE pumpkin, sugar, oil, eggs, brown sugar and orange juice in bowl of electric mixer; beat at low speed until blended, scraping bowl constantly. Add flour mixture. Beat at medium speed until smooth, scraping bowl frequently. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into prepared pan.
- BAKE 35 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched. Cool completely.
- BEAT frosting ingredients at medium speed of electric mixer until smooth. Spread frosting onto baked layer. Cut into bars.
