Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan

Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh asparagus
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- Salt and pepper
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- HEAT oven to 450°F. Trim asparagus, snapping off tough ends. Drizzle 1 Tbsp. oil over the center of a rimmed baking sheet. Place asparagus on oil, in a single layer. Drizzle with the remaining 1 Tbsp. oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- ROAST 5 minutes for crisp-tender asparagus, 8 minutes for softer asparagus.
- TRANSFER asparagus to serving dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
