Ingredients
- 1/4 C. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Garlic Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 C. cashews
- 2 C. pecans
Directions
- HEAT oven to 300°F.
- WHISK together oil, sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic salt, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl. Stir in cashews and pecans. Toss to coat. Spread evenly in 13×9-inch pan.
- BAKE 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once or twice. Place pan on rack to cool, stirring occasionally.
- For a “hotter” nut mix, add 4 or more drops cayenne pepper sauce to recipe.
