Chipotle Salsa

Ingredients
- 3 medium plum tomatoes, quartered
- 1/3 C. coarsely chopped onion
- 1/4 C. loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, coarsely chopped
- 2 Tbsps. Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
- 2 Tbsps. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp. minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
- PLACE tomatoes in food processor. Cover and pulse until coarsely chopped. Drain, if desired, discarding excess liquid.
- PLACE, onion, cilantro, chipotle pepper. oil, lime juice, garlic and salt in food processor. Cover and pulse until chopped. Stir in chopped tomatoes. Serve with grilled meats, grilled seafood or snack chips.
- Canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce can be found in the Hispanic foods section of most supermarkets.
