Ingredients

  • 6 medium tomatillos, husks removed and quartered
  • 3/4 C. coarsely chopped onion
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pit removed
  • 1/4 C. loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 medium jalapeno pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic clove, peeled

Directions

  1. COMBINE tomatillos, onion, avocado, cilantro, jalapeno, oil, salt and garlic in food processor.
  2. COVER and process until smooth. Serve with grilled meats, grilled seafood or snack chips.
