Grilled Veggie and Shrimp Kabobs

1 ½ Tbsp. of minced cilantro
½ C. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil (you can also use Crisco® Pure Canola Oil)
2 cloves of pressed garlic
1 tsp. Spice Islands® Onion Powder
½ tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Cumin Seed
½ tsp. Spice Islands® Paprika
½ tsp. Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper
¼ tsp. Spice Islands® Medium Grind Black Pepper
⅛ tsp. Spice Islands® Mediterranean Sea Salt


  1. Simply add the ingredients to a small bowl and mix thoroughly before brushing onto your kabobs. If you are using the oil rub for both vegetable and raw foods, always brush the vegetables before the fresh proteins for food safety.
  2. Grill for about 2-3 minutes per side until vegetables are fully cooked through.
