Red Zone Buffalo Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
- 1/4 C. Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 C. hot pepper sauce
- 2 tsp. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. chicken tenders
- Chunky blue cheese or ranch dressing
- Celery and carrot sticks
Directions
- MELT shortening in small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic. Cook 15 seconds, stirring constantly. Stir in hot sauce and cider vinegar until blended. Simmer 1 minute. Set aside.
- COMBINE oil, salt and pepper in medium bowl. Add chicken tenders; toss to coat evenly. Thread each chicken tender onto a 6 to 8-inch metal or soaked wooden skewer.
- COAT grill grate or broiler pan with no-stick cooking spray. Heat grill or broiler on high heat.
- GRILL or broil skewers 3 minutes per side. Brush generously with sauce mixture. Broil 1 minute or until internal temperature reads at least 165°F. Place on serving dish. Drizzle with remaining sauce. Serve with dressing and veggie sticks.
